I had my surgery to remove a parotid tumor on the right side of my face below the ear. I was referred to Dr  Kamyar Amini, ENT MD by my primary physician, Dr David Mohamadi, MD. I talked to several doctors over 4 years and was never comfortable having surgery. I found Dr Amini to be knowledgeable, kind and caring.

He explained all my possible risks after the surgery, including a Bell's palsy that I was so afraid of. I went through all computers' pt's experiences and was very devastated. "Do I really need my surgery?" I did get a second opinion and I really needed a surgery. I end up coming back to Dr Amini...and am so glad i did. I felt comfortable and confident with my decision; comforted going into surgery. I trusted Dr Amini completely and he was successful with my extremely difficult surgery. Everyone was so sincere through the entire surgery and it was such a positive experience.  I am healing so well without complications. I am not left with the disfigurement or numerous side effects that can result from a parotidectomy. I couldn't be happier! Dr Amini did exactly what I asked for. I am really happy about the size of the incision on my face and reconstruction my doctor did at the same time. I am so grateful I could smile; because that was my biggest concern, my face would not be paralyzed. Dr Amini really took the time to perform my surgery, nothing ever felt rushed.   I sincerely appreciate the care, concern, and attention to detail that was shown to me during my recent visits at Dr Amini's office and during the surgery. Most of all, I am very glad that Dr Amini made the decision for me to stay at Providence Holy Cross overnight. I have no doubt that my speedy recovery would not have been possible without the exceptional care that Dr Amini and his staff provided. On behalf of me and my family I want to thank everyone at Dr Amini's office as well as everyone who participated in the surgery, for everything they have done, there is no way I would recommend any other place.
